Hey gang, I have a batch of 10 instrumental songs ready to release. They're all loaded up alongside the album art in my 'unpublished projects'. I'm working up the confidence to release them, so just a fair warning if your feed gets bombarded by ten songs in one day! I'm not sure if I'll try releasing them every couple hours or all at once, if anyone has a preference let me know!

I'll probably throw them on youtube too, but I'd like them to be all available here first, because I like this site.

I wrote a song on a whim, which is going up tomorrow. I threw together a little animation to go with it, but I'm not as confident in it. It's a bit lower quality than the last animation I posted here. Would people want to see it anyway?

Okay not really but it has stopped working with Clip Studio Paint, my main drawing software, so I'm going to be moving even slower than I have been! I tried all the usual fixes (windows ink settings and the tablet preferences menu in CSP), but if anyone has other suggestions for how to fix pen pressure in Clip Studio Paint Version 1, it'd be appreciated.

Hiya gang, I've been a bit slow since artfight, but I've been working on a bunch of stuff! Problem is, since I've been working so much I haven't had time to really do many smaller projects or to just browse! To rectify this, I'm going to try to show off some more WIP projects a bit more often in these type of posts (so I'm not clogging up my gallery or the art portal). Once my schedule stabilizes a bit more I'll try to find a consistent time to post some of these!

Handful of character design/color tests for a music video in the works. I'm challenging myself to get it done for Halloween, since after the 13/8 contest I realized having a deadline gets me to work faster!

Quick walk animation movement test for the same video, to use as a reference when animating the characters. Animation is 20 frames in order to sync with the beat at the selected framerate (not shown here, I don't know how to change framerate in CSP).

"Storyboard" clip from another video that's on hold for now, until the Halloween one is finished at least. I'm pretty bad at storyboards, as you can see, but it conveys the shot well enough to work with the rig style this video will have. I'm not sure exactly who I'm going to use for those background extras, but I'll figure it out.

And last thing I have to post, some panels from a comic I've been working on. It's only 30% done with art at the moment, but the writing and thumbnailing are all complete already.

And since I can't post Music WIPs in this blog format, that'll do it for now. I'm going to try to be more active in general with commenting and forums, even when I don't have anything to post myself. Thank you all for being patient!

I've been quiet for a while, I have a couple reasons. I graduate soon and the end-of-semester push is pretty harsh, but I'm trying. The other reason I haven't had much to post is because I'm working on a couple big projects: The comic I've been on and off writing is finally done enough that I can finally begin actually making the pages, which I have started. Additionally, I have a handful of music projects that are approaching completion, and am planning on making a music video for one of the covers I have finished. Storyboards for that have already begun. Completion date is in the air for both, and will likely take a while, but I'm still planning to chip away at them as much as I can! I will post any other pieces I finish enough for the art portal, although I don't plan on posting sketches unless people specifically ask for them. Thank you for being patient!

You may have noticed I've been a bit inactive lately, there are several reasons for this. It is a busy semester, and I haven't had the time to work on many of my creative projects, but also much of the time I do get has been spent towards music. In fact, there is a big song being posted tomorrow that I'm particularly proud of. There will be some smaller songs following it, as well.

I know almost all of you follow me for art, and I don't have any plans on stopping art either. Tomorrow, there will be a little animated gif (won't be posted to the movie portal since it's just a loop) to go with the song, and I plan to draw a piece to go with all or most of the songs I post here. I do have a comic cooking in the back too, although that will likely be a ways off. Still chipping away at it, and doing set up for more animations in the future.

Just queued up a bunch of art, most of it is Epithet Erased related, sorry to anyone following for OC art, it's coming back soon! Also in the process of working on a comic, and hoping to try giving animation another shake, since I had to cancel the project I was working on.
